I am 72 year old King County transit driver with degenerative disc disease & herniated disc in L-2. Pain from spending hours behind the wheel in heavy traffic can be intense! Since putting my backbone in my car, I’ve notice a huge difference in the pain in my back. I spend a lot of time in my car and I’ve always been self aware of the fact that my posture isn’t great. Since using the backbone my posture is perfect while driving. I thought having the cushion on my seat would make me uncomfortable but it’s the opposite. It’s super comfortable. I had just went through 2 months of physical therapy for a low back problem and once I got back to working everyday started having numbness in my upper back and neck due to bad sitting posture. The backbone cushion helps me stay more in proper alignment and has helped with the numb spots. The only soreness I experienced was with my lower back muscles working differently because I was sitting better but it didn’t last long.
